I really do like the Platinum Plus by Weider. Please understand that this machine is not totally what I call self-contained. For example when I did squats I had to lift the bench up. Obviously this would be true because I wouldn’t be able to do a squat with the bench there. Is that easier than other machines that just allow you to move the bench away? I guess it depends. I had no problem lifting up the bench and in some ways it was nice not to have to have room to move the bench. Obviously as well I had to remove the arm curl pad in order to do leg extensions. This only took a few seconds but it is something you will have to get used to and not mind moving things around. I like the digital capability. It is among the easiest machine I have used but with that comes potential technical difficulties. However unless you just have dumbbells and a bench, which is fine as well, there are potential problems with any machine you buy.
